Adirondack Guitar becomes an Official D'Angelico Guitar Dealer

June 1, 2017

We at Adirondack Guitar are incredibly excited to announce that we have become an authorized dealer of D'Angelico Guitars. We will be receiving our first shipment this week of lefty and righty guitars and basses this week and couldn't be happier to expand our already great selection.

D'Angelico has an incredible history dating back to the early 1900's where John D'Angelico began building and selling his famous archtop guitars. After John passed away in the '60s the company ran on a quality mindset for years until it was purchased in 1999. For the last nearly 20 years, the company has modernized their operations to improve an already amazing brand. After years in Little Italy in New York City, D'Angelico moved its showroom into an amazing Manhattan location.

The quality speaks for itself when playing one of these guitars. Tailpieces, tuners, even down to the bridge pins there is so much attention to detail. We will be selling beautiful right-handed guitars such as the Right-hand Excel DC Double Cutaway and also stocking up our left-handed guitar and bass selection like the Lefty Gramercy Acoustic Electric Guitar. With over 20 different models of electric, acoustic and basses being offered in left-handed, there is something for everyone.

With over 130 featured artists listed, D'Angelico has some amazing players using Excel SS, DC, 59, etc , etc, etc. We were lucky enough last year at the 2016 NAMM show to run into Robert Randolph and Andrew Watt playing at their showroom. It was great to check out some of the guitars that we'll be selling today, but the other takeaway was that this is a company who loves music and knows how to entertain! Get in touch with us if you have any questions or if there's something specific you're looking for – we're really happy to start building out our collection to hopefully help you build yours also.
