Announcing Partnership with GEM FEST 2017

Adirondack Guitar Partners with the Glens Falls Entertainment and Music Fest (GEM Fest)

We are proud to announce our formal partnership with the Glens Falls Entertainment and Music Fest (GEM Fest). As one of the leading music stores in the Northeast, we are very excited to sponsor local musicians in the hopes of inspiring current and future musicians to create amazing music. GEM Fest's first was in 2016 and was incredibly well received. This year the Festival secured a grant from LARAC (lower Adirondack regional arts council) that increased the budget in a big way from the previous year. As the Festival has grown, we were lucky to get an opportunity to step in and support.

With over 30 artists playing at 4 different venues between 4pm-12am, we expect this to be an incredible event. Along with great music, over 20 local artists will be displaying at an art reception at 190 Grille. Here's the vision: after checking out amazing local art, you walk outside along a row of local vendors, while listening to acoustic artists playing across the street at Rockhill Back House. The charming atmosphere that Glens Falls has to offer is just an added bonus. Artists include: Let's Be Leonard, Candy Ambulance, Joe Mansman & The Midnight Revival Band, Sirsy, Capital Zen and many others.

To have a festival in this capacity in Glens Falls is an amazing opportunity for the community, especially for original local music. Look for us at the Festival, we'll be sponsoring a raffle with a mystery guitar (but Les Paul maybe in the title!) and be looking to chat about music.
