New C.F. Martin Americana Series

One of the guitars announced at NAMM 2017 that I have a lot of excitement for has to be, "The Americana Series" from Martin guitars. This line is the first in Martin's history to all use Sitka Spruce tops and American hard woods on the back on sides, in fact, you'll be hard pressed to find guitars quite like these anywhere else.

Sycamore backs and sides are not only stunning, but pair extremely well the the dreadnought body style. The OM model boasts certified Pennsylvania Cherry back and sides which gives this piece a warmer tone considering the body size. Both dreadnought and dreadnought cutaway models have 000 depth which makes these guitars really unique. The thinner body makes these beauties very playable and less bulky when playing standing up. The Silver with orange pinstripe Acrylic binding isn't too shabby either. Ebony fingerboard, Schaller Grandtune tuners and Fishman Martix VX electronics are the cherries on top of this sophisticated new vision from Martin.

This series is a perfect fit for the working musician and collector alike. Premium features, modern design and gig-ability at this level craftsman make for a very special series, indeed. Both lefty AND right handed models are available from Adirondack Guitar and we're stoked to be taking orders now and into spring 2017.
